Who we work with

AB&T was built to serve a specific kind of client: the founder, CEO or management team running a $25M-$1B business who needs senior capability without the overhead, theatre or junior-team economics of a Big Four engagement. Most of our clients are privately held or private-equity backed. They make decisions quickly, expect us to do the same, and have no patience for ceremony.

Three disciplines, one firm

Most consulting firms stop at the deck, most training firms stop at the workshop, and most search firms stop at the offer letter. AB&T brings the three together because the problems mid-market leaders bring us rarely sit cleanly in one bucket.

You can engage any pillar on its own. Many clients start with one and add the others as the relationship deepens - a transformation engagement that surfaces a capability gap, a search engagement that benefits from a leadership program around the new hire, a training program that exposes an org-design issue.

How we run engagements

Our four-stage model - Diagnose, Frame, Deliver, Hand Back - is built so that by the end of any engagement your team owns the outcome and the operating habit. We aim to make ourselves unnecessary, then stay on call for the moments when senior advisory genuinely helps.

Where we work

AB&T serves clients across the United States, working remotely as the default and on-site when the engagement calls for it. We cover manufacturing and industrials, healthcare, financial services, technology and software, professional services, consumer and retail, energy and resources, and private-equity portfolio companies across those sectors.

Discretion is the default

We do not publish case studies that name clients, post client logos on the homepage, or share commercial detail without explicit permission. Most of our engagements are by referral; the ones that aren't usually become referrals. If you're considering working with us and want to speak to a previous client, we'll arrange it directly.
